Hyundai Accent Ignition and Steering Column Repair After Break In in Knightdale NC

Last week recently helped a customer in Knightdale NC with a major repair after their 2017 Hyundai Accent was broken into. The job was done near Main St and 2nd Ave, close to Harper Park, an area we work in often. The thief tried to start the car and ended up damaging several important parts inside the steering column. When we arrived, the windshield wiper stalk was broken, the upper and lower steering column shrouds were cracked, the ignition lock cylinder was destroyed, and even the housing for the cylinder was smashed as you can see in the photos attached.
