Our journey began in New York, but we relocated to the Raleigh area during the pandemic. Charles expanded his expertise in automotive locksmith services, commercial access, and of course, commercial and residential services. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Charles Feder – Owner of F.A. Locksmith
Charles Feder has been a licensed locksmith since 2015, starting his career in New York, where he focused on residential and commercial locksmith services. As his skills and passion grew, he specialized in automotive locksmith services, particularly in luxury and European vehicles. Today, Charles is one of the few locksmiths in the Triangle area with the expertise to program high-security vehicles, making him a sought-after professional in his field.
Beyond his locksmith career, Charles enjoys woodworking, creating custom furniture pieces for friends and family. His dedication to craftsmanship, both in his profession and hobbies, reflects his commitment to quality and precision.
Michelle Feder – Co-Owner of F.A. Locksmith
Michelle Feder brings her six years of marketing agency experience to F.A. Locksmith, where she excels in building relationships and crafting effective marketing strategies. Originally hailing from New York, Michelle and her husband Charles raise two children together.
Known for her compassion, friendliness, and patience, Michelle excels at providing understanding support to customers, especially during inconvenient situations. Her role at F.A. Locksmith includes managing the team and expanding the business’s account side. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys flower arranging and often shares her beautiful bouquets with friends.
Mariano Ortega – Locksmith Apprentice
Mariano Ortega joined F.A. Locksmith as an apprentice after deciding to make a career change from HVAC. With his extensive technical background, Mariano quickly adapted to the locksmith trade, demonstrating a natural talent for picking locks. He is skilled in programming car keys, creating duplicates, and installing high-security lock systems for both commercial and residential properties.
Outside of work, Mariano enjoys spending time with his wife and their two adKorable dogs. He’s also an avid motorcycle enthusiast, often taking rides to unwind and explore.
Yehuda (Judah) Feder – Locksmith Apprentice
Yehuda (Judah) Feder joined F.A. Locksmith as a locksmith apprentice after completing his service in the IDF. Known for his patience and versatility, Judah brings a quick learning ability and a knack for troubleshooting, essential skills in an industry where every job presents unique challenges. He masterfully adapts to various situations, ensuring high-quality service.
Outside of work, Judah enjoys playing basketball and exploring his culinary skills in the kitchen. His diverse interests and dedication to his craft make him a valuable member of the F.A. Locksmith team.
